Nonperishable food items would be any packaged items that would beconsidered "shelf stable" or do not require refrigeration,including but not limited to:
  • canned food (fruit, vegetables, sauces, soups, chili, tuna,chicken, sardines, etc)
  • breakfast cereals
  • crackers
  • cookies
  • cake mixes
  • dry pastas
  • peanut butter
  • dried herbs and spices
  • sugar
  • flour
  • powdered beverage mixes
  • powdered milk

These do not last forever, still have "best if used by" dates andshould not be stored under hot temperatures.
